WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite, a cutting-edge material that combines the natural beauty of wood with the durability of plastic.
WPC flooring is primarily composed of wood fiber or flour, and plastic (such as polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride). These materials are combined and then extruded or molded under high pressure and temperature to form the flooring.
Structure
The structure of Waterproof WPC Flooring is relatively simple, but each layer plays a crucial role. Generally, WPC flooring consists of the following layers:
Wear Layer: Located on the surface of the floor, providing excellent wear resistance, scratch resistance, and stain resistance.
Decorative Layer: Located beneath the wear layer, printed with various wood grain, stone grain, and other patterns, giving the floor a beautiful appearance.
Base Material Layer: This is the core part of the WPC floor. It has good strength, stability, and waterproof performance.
Advantages
WPC flooring, a newer material for outdoor applications, offers several advantages over traditional wood decking:
Superior Weather Resistance: Highly resistant to rot, warping, and can withstand harsh weather conditions like rain, sun, and wind, making it ideal for outdoor environments.
Waterproof and Moisture Resistant: Excellent waterproof and moisture-resistant properties. It won't absorb water and expand, ensuring stability even in damp conditions.
Durability and Scratch Resistance: High surface hardness, resistant to scratches, and offers a longer lifespan.
Easy to Clean and Maintain: Requires minimal maintenance, often just a simple water rinse.
Environmentally Friendly: Primarily made from recycled wood fibers and plastic, it can be recycled and is environmentally friendly.
Diverse Appearance: Can mimic various wood grains and colors, offering a wide range of aesthetic options.
Easy Installation: Offers various installation methods and is generally easier to install.
Longer Lifespan: Can last for decades with minimal maintenance, reducing replacement costs.
In summary, WPC flooring offers superior performance, lower maintenance, and a longer lifespan compared to traditional wood decking. Its durability, weather resistance, and environmentally friendly properties make it an excellent choice for outdoor applications. Welcome your consultation!

How to install
Our WPC flooring utilizes an advanced self-developed locking system that eliminates the need for glue or screws throughout the installation process, making it easy for even inexperienced individuals to install.
1. Preparation
Measure the space: Accurately measure the dimensions of the space where you need to lay the floor to determine the number of floorings required.
Floor preparation: Make sure the base floor is flat, dry and free of debris. If the floor is uneven, it can be treated with self-leveling cement or other leveling materials.
Inspect the materials: Before starting the installation, check all purchased WPC floors for damage or defects and allow them to acclimate to the installation environment for at least 24 hours to balance with the indoor temperature and humidity.
2. Installation method
Lay a moisture barrier: Lay a moisture barrier on the ground to prevent underground moisture from rising and affecting the floor.
Install the starting row: Install the first row of boards starting from one corner of the room, making sure the ends are aligned with the wall. Use special tools such as a crowbar to adjust the edge position so that the boards fit tightly.
Connect subsequent rows: Use the WPC floor's built-in snap system or tongue-and-groove structure to firmly lock the two adjacent boards together. For longer rooms, you may also need to cut the last row of boards to fit the wall.
Expansion gap: Leave an expansion gap of about 8-10 mm between the floor and the wall to allow the wood fiber to expand and contract due to heat and cold, and avoid warping and deformation of the floor.
Fix the skirting: Finally, install the skirting to cover the expansion gap and complete the overall aesthetics.
3. Precautions after completion
Cleaning the site: Remove excess packaging materials and other construction waste.
Maintenance: Although WPC floors are easy to maintain, dust and stains should still be cleaned regularly to avoid sharp objects scratching the floor surface.
Special tips
When installing outdoors, considering the influence of climate factors, more attention should be paid to waterproof measures and larger expansion gaps should be reserved.
